Iordansky Anatoly Aleksandrovich, born 1888 in Kostroma region. In August 1914 volunteered for the Russian imperial army during WWI, fought in the Russian Civil war. At the end of December 1917 – member of the revolutionary committee of soldiers’ deputies. At the end of 1919, as a specialist officer, he was mobilized to fight Denikin. In 1921, Commissar of the South-Western Front, Head of the Russian-Ukrainian military delegation at the peace talks on the definition of the Soviet border with Poland.
After the Civil War he worked in Osoaviakhim (Society for the Promotion of Aviation and Chemical Defense )
Anatoly Iordansky was arrested on March 27 on the count of counter-revolutionary terrorist activities and sabotage. Executed on September 4, 1937, rehabilitated on May 12, 1956.
